Shishito Peppers are a sensationally popular Japanese heirloom variety that has taken the culinary world by storm. Like other peppers, Shishitos are grown as tender summer annuals in USDA Zones 3 through 8 Full sun Heat Level: 50 to 200 Scoville Heat Units (SHU) Because of the unique nature of Shishitos, they require a bit more caution around pets than a standard sweet pepper.
